Lucky Star is one of my first anime’s I ever watched, right after FLCL and Ghost in the Shell, and I still find myself watching it every once in a while when I’m staying a day home due to illness or something similliar. The otaku Konata Izumi, the sisters Tsukasa and Kagami Hiiragi and the smart but shy Miyuki Takara live their normal life while dealing with today’s problems. Basic, but it works great. My favorite of course is Konata, with her love for video games, manga and anime in general. Dispite her length, she’s actually the oldest girl of the group, which you really wouldn’t expect coming from her. The series are overall really kawaii and a must-see for all anime fans.
